Oral & Poster Presentation

Abstract

Abstracts have to be submitted to https://www.imsc2020.com/, submission area, the deadline for abstract submission is April 20th, 2020 (2 abstracts per presenter will be allowed). Download Abstract Templates at the POSTER PRESENTATION section below, the abstract template.

English will be the official language of the meeting. Please prepare your oral and poster presentations in English.

Oral presentations

Each session room is equipped with a PC, a digital projector, a laser pointer and a speaker microphone. You will not be able to use your own computer. In each room, speakers will find staff members for assistance.

Presentations should be created in MS Power Point (.ppt, .pptx). Presentations created in Apple’s Keynote should be converted into or saved in pdf format. Speakers are kindly asked to test their presentation during the uploading.

Speakers will have 15 minutes for their oral presentation including the following 5 minutes discussion. Please note that the duration given to the oral presentation includes also time for questions and discussion. Please organize your presentation accordingly.

Speakers must upload their presentation file to the PC in their scheduled session room (Conference program), according to the following plan:
1. Morning presentation, must upload their file by 6:00 PM (18:00) of the previous day;
2. Afternoon presentation must upload their file by 12:00 AM on the day of their presentation.

Specific instructions

Poster Presentations

Posters will be displayed in the Asia room (Exhibition area) as shown on the map of the Congress. Poster presenters are responsible for their own posters during the exhibition. The Congress Organization is not responsible for the posters.

Size Specifications:

Poster boards: 90cm (Width) x 210cm (Height).

Available poster area: 90cm (Width) x 120cm (Height).

No larger posters will be exposed.

Each board to affix the poster will have an identification number. Abstract identification number will correspond to that on the poster board. The author should display his/her poster on the correct poster board. Consult the schedule day for your presentation.

Adhesive tape for mounting the poster on the board will be provided by staff members.

Posters will be on display on the day of the congress poster presentation. Author’s attendance times will be described in the general program.

Posters must be set up 8:30 to 9:30 am on the day of display.

Posters must be removed from 05:00 to 06:00 pm on the day of display

Presenters are kindly asked to remain near their posters during the scheduled session.

Poster presentations will be conducted in free discussion style.

Posters must be removed at the schedule time, before mentioned. The Congress Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time.

Your submitted abstract will be published in the conference proceedings, October 4th, 2020.

VERY IMPORTANT

The time allocated for the talks is as follows:
· Plenary talk: 40 minutes of talk + 5 minutes of discussion
· Key-note talk: 35 minutes of talk + 5 minutes of discussion
· Oral presentations: 17 minutes of talk + 3 minutes of discussion

As we have many talks, the allocated time should be strictly respected.

NOTIFICATIONS OF ACCEPTANCE

Notifications of acceptance will be sent by May 20th 2020, to all submitters.

Please note that you have to register for the conference for giving your presentation- Poster & Oral.
In order to register for the event, the participants must complete the online registration forms and make payment immediately. The organizer reserves the right not to accept participants who have entered wrong, false, insufficient data or late payment. Participant must be paid full payment right after your registration or your application will be subject to cancellation.
